About Me

Hi! I’m Tori, a software developer from Cleveland, OH, USA.

I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up–although, if I really had to choose, I’d be Indiana Jones. But since “Indiana Jones” isn’t really a viable career option, I wound up in software development. Most of my experience has been in software integrations and enterprise applications, using .NET and JavaScript.

I love large cups of coffee and when meetings can be e-mails. I’m also passionate about clean code, descriptive commit messages, embracing diversity, and equity in technology education. Back before the plague times, you could find me at northeast Ohio meetups and Great Lakes regional technology conferences, talking about diversity, developer mental health, teaching, and an obscure JVM language called ‘Gosu’.

In my spare time, I’m usually outside hiking and camping, or indoors obsessing over my cats and my collection of vintage Pyrex bakeware.
